LoST along the Tuscarawas River + Canal Boat Tour in Canal Fulton This adventure was Summertime perfect. The weather was just right, combining a little bit of heat with a gentle breeze. The level trail mixed it up with segments of asphalt and crushed stone as it wove through historical remembrances of the canal era of American history. In Canal Fulton, a pair of horses tugged us back into time aboard the St. Helena III Canal Boat, our imaginations fueled by the captain's informative narration of an era where canal transportation transformed American life. The midway stop at Rockne's in Massillon proved tasty and refreshingly cool, and worth a revisit. And the tasty treat stop at Cherry Street Creamery is so convenient... and delicious... being right along the towpath! Topping off this Towpath treasure was the excellent company whom I shared the adventure with.
